I am passionate about working with at-risk youth facing complex challenges and have consistently demonstrated an ability to engage with youth of varying circumstances and abilities with sincerity and Experience Snapshot: In my current role as Mental Health Worker with Provincial Health Services Authority, I support youth in residential eating disorder treatment to increase self-awareness, life-skills, coping mechanisms, and community building through group therapy, recreation/leisure activities, meal support, and one-on-one support. In my previous role as Senior Youth Worker at Hollyburn Family Services, I provided frontline support to youth in residential care, many of whom struggle with mental health concerns, and provided direction to staff through critical and emergent incidents. I utilize a client-centered approach to work collaboratively with youth towards their self-determined goals and focus on holistically addressing individual needs in a culturally competent manner.
