Magazine editor experienced in reporting, sub editing, CMS and online journalism, project management, commissioning, page design and layout, photo editing as well as relationship management. Passionate about the written word as a means of communication, I would describe myself as articulate, deadline driven, creative, technologically-savvy, reliable, adaptable and a fast learner. I believe strongly in social media as a two-way communication tool and have studied digital marketing and associated analytics. I developed and managed Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts for the Official Leinster Supporters Club (OLSC). When I left the Facebook page had more than likes. I helped to establish and manage the social media accounts of Education Equality Ireland, which campaigns for equality-based education for children of all faiths and none in Irish primary schools. In addition to my academic awards, I hold a postgraduate diploma in public relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, graduating with first-class honours, placing second in Ireland.
