As the Regional Communications Lead at IDA Ireland, I leverage my extensive experience in journalism and strong writing skills to craft compelling press releases, speeches, and other media communications. I collaborate closely with client corporate communications teams, providing specialised communications input for a diverse portfolio of regional clients. My responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, government affairs, planning and executing press conferences, photo calls, media events job announcements, and all public relations activities to promote our client companies and showcase IDA Ireland's positive impact. I also have a background as a PR professional, media trainer, and crisis communications specialist. I create and deliver complex media relations and PR plans that align with and support my clients' corporate strategies and culture. I use my insights from radio and TV to help clients prepare for media engagement, ensuring they can coherently share their key messages. Additionally, I have a Certificate in Crisis Communications & Issues Management from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, which further enhances my expertise in this field.
