About Alison Pitt

I am an attorney with 20+ years of experience as a business advisor with subject matter expertise in regulatory law and compliance, risk management, commercial contracts, trademarks, and corporate governance. I started my career with Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), where I was promoted to corporate counsel and assistant corporate secretary. At Iomega, I was responsible for corporate governance (board and shareholder meetings), SEC filings, stock plan administration, trademark filings, consumer product packaging, and handling corporate compliance with an FTC consent decree. Following Iomega, I spent nearly two decades working with Nutraceutical Corporation (NASDAQ: NUTR), an integrated marketer, distributor, retailer, and manufacturer of branded nutritional supplements and other natural products. As part of a small legal department, I assisted all areas of business operations by providing legal and business counsel with focused support on regulatory compliance for marketing and business operations. During my time at Nutraceutical, I was part of the acquisition team for over thirty small business acquisitions and the business integrations that followed. In 2019, I had the opportunity to move to U.S. Ski & Snowboard, the national governing body for Olympic and Paralympic skiing and snowboarding sports in the USA as their general counsel to support 240 elite athletes, members, and 175 employees. As part of the management leadership team, I advise on all aspects of the Association’s operations including compliance (SafeSport, Anti-Doping programs), governance, contracts, litigation, intellectual property, insurance/risk management, disciplinary matters, employment, and safety and security policies. Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed opportunities to lead business progression and change. Specialties: compliance and risk management strategies, legal analyses integrated with business and budget planning, and establishing protocols and processes for efficient operations.
