Alison Sampson

Background

About Alison Sampson

I am a history graduate who is currently volunteering for the charity Blind Veterans UK as a Historical Researcher and Administrator. I have had experience of the archives/heritage sector through this placement and another one at Greenwich Heritage Centre and am interested in genealogy and social and political history. I hold a City and Guilds Business Administration Level 1 and European Computer Driving License Level 1 and 2. I have significant customer service experience gained through both my volunteering and employment and am able to deal with enquiries in a polite and efficient manner, whether it is made face to face or by telephone or email, and am able to interact with people from all levels. I am looking for paid employment or a paid internship within government/local government, NGOS and Charities and the archives/heritage sector. I am always interested in something new and would like an opportunity to try out other departments within these sectors, such as PR and Marketing.
