About Alison Smith

My professional experience began through the co-op program at Northeastern, where my love for Higher Education Administration flourished. I worked as Media Relations co-op on the advancement side of things at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and was able to write stories for their many publications, as well as manage and shoot for the Institution's extensive photo database. Most recently, I've accepted a position with Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, an MEP firm in the greater Denver area. I also do work for STS Consulting, a financial consulting company whose clients are mostly churches around the US. My roll involves various administration, copy editing, writing press releases, and designing functional websites for clients. I am really a jack-of-all trades type. I'm flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. After 6 years of waitressing, my multi-tasking skills border on perfection, and I thrive in a fast-paced environment. Writing is my strength and my passion, and I hope to one day write a best-seller.
