About Alison Voss

I am a seasoned Manager at Deloitte in our Government and Public Services Practice. A decade into my consulting adventure, my expertise lies in adopting a data-first approach to enable AI/ML and GenAI implementations. I have significantly contributed to clients from Civilian and Defense sectors by transitioning their analytics capabilities from Excel-based statistics in 2014 to GPU-enabled GenAI in 2024. My inclusive, service-based leadership style has consistently facilitated team success and client satisfaction. Supporting the success of those around me became my personal "North Star" very early on in my career. To find my own success in supporting the success of others has been very fulfilling. My notable client impacts include leading a major Civilian agency's first Big Data Analytics platform from solution architecture to authority to operate; providing program management support to the Director of Advanced Analytics for a logistics heavy Civilian agency; and mapping the journey from AI strategy to Enterprise GenAI solution for the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) of a major military command. In my current client space I delivered a highly praised data implementation plan that received kudos for governance in action in a 2022 congressional report. I also led the development of the Data Management and Analytics Enablement (DAME) Framework in 2023, driving a cultural shift towards collaborative data management. Most recently, I designed and delivered the AI for Impact lab in May 2024 to shape work developing an AI strategy to bridge the gap between acquisition and science and technology that keeps most proofs of concepts from going to production. In addition to my client impacts, I have served as Chief of Staff for Deloitte's Public Sector CTO, Scott Buchholz, devising an impactful ambassador's program for the firm's 2022 Tech Trends. I currently serve as the Growth Leader for a prestigious technology alliance within the firm, where I am strategically driving market strategies for Omniverse digital twins, Nemo Microservices GenAI, and Morpheus cyber solutions. I proudly hold a Master of Science in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics and a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in both Marketing and Finance, from North Carolina State University.
