About Alison Wesley-James

With over 30 years of experience in the health care sector, I am passionate about helping clients to secure capital planning approvals and optimize their performance. As a Senior Planner at Resource Planning Group, I work with community providers, LTC and hospitals to envision their futures and help translate their goals into an achievable facilities plan. I understand hospital operations, having served in senior management as well as capital planning leadership roles. My experience planning hospital program consolidations and rationalizing services speaks to my ability to bring stakeholders together to achieve common goals. Planning community hubs with both healthcare and housing partners has been one of my career highlights. In my current role, I work with senior leadership teams, front line staff, physicians, patients, and families to envision the future of services and articulate requirements for new and expanded facilities. I have been involved in projects such as the Roberts/Smart Centre for youth secure treatment, All Nations Hospital, County of Grey LTC Home, Scarborough Health Network's Birchmount Redevelopment, and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. I use my skills in project planning, change management, and contract management to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with stakeholder satisfaction.
