About Alison Wong

Alison Wong is a trial consultant with twenty years of experience guiding clients and their counsel in matters throughout the country, from patent litigation to bet-the-company business disputes. Alison’s background in psychology and sociology and the strategic insights she developed as a first-chair litigator make her uniquely positioned to help her clients understand what really motivates jurors’ decisions and to offer practical, real-world solutions. Alison is passionate about helping lawyers and litigants see their cases in a new light. She believes that the key to success in the courtroom is having an in-depth understanding of the issues that really matter to jurors. Over the past twenty years, Alison has interviewed thousands of real and surrogate jurors about what drives their decision-making process in legal disputes. She believes that effective trial consulting strikes a balance between the law and social sciences and that, in order to be successful, jury research must not only answer her client’s specific questions, but also maintain the methodological rigor necessary to generate reliable, meaningful results. Alison has a broad consulting practice; clients from a wide range of disciplines, such as business litigation, corporate fraud, contract disputes, labor and employment, FLSA, products liability, and legal and medical malpractice have entrusted their case strategy to her. Though her work has taken her to almost every state in the country, Alison has spent a great deal of time working on intellectual property cases in East Texas and on insurance and products liability cases in New Orleans. Alison is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is often invited to make CLE presentations at major law firms. She has published articles on gender in the courtroom, the use of juror psychology in jury selection, and patent litigation in the Eastern District of Texas.
