About Alistair Sutter

Computers are literally the story of my life. I started building computers during childhood. I left from Paris, France, alone, around the age of 18 to follow my dream and study Computing Science in Canada. For my undergraduate studies I completed a Diploma and a Degree in Computing Science, specializing in Software Engineering and in Databases & Information Systems. I am good at coding and designing algorithms. I enjoy managing big projects, like what I do at my current position; For this kind of work, the diversity of my knowledge helps a lot. I take pride in being a quick-learner and being knowledgeable. Since 2011, the main operating system I work with is Linux and I run my own server on the same OS. I like to say:"You can make anything work on linux if you have the time!". I love working with operating systems and I also like reverse engineering/hacking hardware. I also have experience with meterpreter. During my bachelor's degree I studied network protocols and ethical hacking. The topics also interest me a lot. Polyvalent, polychronic and very independent. I like to consider myself an achiever and a visionary. I can adapt to most situations. I am also passionate about management and leadership. I cultivate my own yeast to make my own bread entirely by hand. I grow my own plants, have a cat, keep a few fish and even brew my own beer. I have a lot of respect, contemplation and perplexity for nature. I like to experiment, as such my philosophy is to study and to try whatever I want to; most of the time I manage to get something out of it. One of my sweetest dreams is to own a plane and complete my pilot's license.
