About Alister Dmonte
Alister D'Monte is the Founder/CEO of Unherd.in - a social enterprise based in Bangalore, India that helps high schoolers (grades 9-12) to make informed career decisions through industry mentorship programs. The idea sparked when Alister realized that a lot of school students are making uninformed career choices leading to choosing professions outside their college major. An engineer by degree, a community manager by chance, and a social entrepreneur by choice - Alister enjoys illustrating, and learning languages in his free time. He is presently learning German (at level C1). He is presently a full-time student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) studying Human Development and Education (HDE). Alister believes that young students making uninformed career choices are a serious concern in the education system that we must all come together to solve. His mission is to build a future where the next generation will learn, grow and prosper in their respective professions fuelled by their passion, interest and skills, thereby making a positive difference in the world.
