Background
About Alix Albright
Passionate about the transition towards agricultural practices that are both socially just and preserve biodiversity, I work as a Project Manager at the Hectar pilot farm leading and supporting a variety of experimental initiatives—from blueberries and natural pigments to beekeeping and biodiversity monitoring. In this role I have had the chance to witness the daily realities farmers face, the transition of a conventional farm to one rooted in organic and regenerative practices, and the innovations shaping the future of agriculture. Previously, I had explored this interest in biodiversity and nature-based solutions through the prism of a sustainability consultant position at PwC. During my 3 years in this role, I drove sustainable practices across large corporations and diverse industries, acquiring expertise in ESG strategy, regulatory compliance, impact measurement and risk analysis & mitigation along the way.
