About Alix Dolson

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University, a postgraduate degree in Sexual Health Education from University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Vancouver Island University. I am a Registered Social Worker and the Executive Director at Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre (KSACC), where I oversee all operations and strategic planning for the agency. In my roles as an anti-violence advocate and educator, I have worked with diverse and marginalized communities, providing emotional and practical supports to survivors and their children fleeing violence, as well as facilitating workshops and trainings on sexual health, consent, and prevention. I have also developed and maintained strong relationships with donors, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders, securing funding and resources for the agency and its programs. I am passionate about ending gendered violence and promoting empowerment, and I bring a wealth of experience, skills, and perspectives to the team.
