About Aliya Hamida

In my current role as a Communications Officer at Arbeiter Samariter Bund Deutschland e.V South and South-East Asia Office, I collaborate closely with the Communications and Knowledge Management Coordinator. Together, we develop and implement communication strategies amplifying the voices of those we serve. Executing day-to-day tasks includes impactful content creation, social media management, and event planning. Serving as a bridge between our project team and stakeholders ensures a seamless flow of information, translating updates into compelling narratives. My contributions extend to overseeing ASB's communication strategy, focusing on quality control, compliance, and active involvement in content creation, graphic design, multimedia development, and social media management. My commitment includes staying informed about emerging communication tools, training local partners, and ensuring compliance with visibility and communication guidelines to effectively represent ASB's positive impact. Throughout my career, I've actively contributed to various research projects, including empowering community health volunteers, exploring women's empowerment in Madura villages, and developing a community-based empowerment model for single mothers. My diverse experiences have equipped me with valuable skills and insights. I excel in crafting compelling narratives and have been recognized for my achievements, including being the Best Presenter at the Bali International Conference on Social and Political Sciences and receiving the Best Paper award at the Indonesia Social Responsibility Awards. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am known for my dedication to community service and have actively volunteered in various capacities, coordinating competitions, creative design, and campaigns. I am a proud co-founder of Mandiri Insani Yogyakarta, contributing to children education.
