About Aliya Yao

Having worked for slightly more than two years in a start-up environment, I possess excellent organisational skills and very high ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines. Communication between colleagues and with different stakeholders is also partly my strength as I was responsible for all internal product trainings in my area of expertise as well as presenting product information slides to external customers (B2C) and other stakeholders from healthcare organisations (B2B). I have created the ‘masterfile’ documents for keeping all scientific research-based information related to my product area, including publishing two literature reviews on behalf of the company in English and Chinese (to be distributed to potential customers in China and internationally). At the end of the day, I was also highly engaged in work with the Product Manager, Marketing Manager and the General Manager on many occasions such as providing administrative support in meetings/teleconferences with external stakeholders (e.g. minute-taking and organizing them at the end before forwarding to all participants in the meeting). Furthermore, I had been responsible for quality control of the final product during and post-manufacturing from material testing to meet product specifications to final packaging and shipping of product to clients in mainland China and overseas.
