About Aliyah Ballott

In my time at Louisiana Tech University, I attained a BS in Construction Engineering and a minor in finance. Through my education, I gained experience in estimating, surveying, geotechnical testing, planning and scheduling, and many other aspects of construction. As a life long learner, I plan to further my education with a MBA. I will also expand my capabilities and knowledge of Project Management by earning my PMP Certification. I continued my learning at J.M. Lyons Construction as a Commercial/Residential Estimator. During my time there, I estimated many projects from the Louisiana Military Department, various housing authorities and school boards, restaurants, homes, and commercial office spaces, costing anywhere from to My fluency in software such as ProEst, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, Maxwell, and Chief Architect, exposed me to the entirety of the estimating process, from making plans to bidding and scheduling. I also have certifications in ProEst, OSHA-10, Procore, and Microsoft. Working at Beta, I’ve been able to accelerate my learning in the PM Profession, by working on various projects with many different types of colleagues and customers. As a Coordinator, I was trusted to work beyond the typical standards, leading customer facing meetings, making complex decisions, leading schedule delay mitigation efforts, and much more. My time at Beta has also created within, a love for the sport of Cornhole: a game anyone can play and anyone can win; and win we did, as I am half of the 2023 BCL Doubles Champion Duo.
