About Allan Dobbin

My Name is Allan Dobbin, an Educational Assistant with the Niagara Catholic District School Board. I Bring 39 years of Experience, volunteering and working across the Niagara Region with children, Youth, Young Adults, and Seniors. Everything from Youth Sport, Special Needs of all ages, Home Support, Fitness, and Activities with daily living at all age levels. Before upgrading my education, because of the Pandemic. My wife and I are the Co Founders of Bridges for Autism, a Provincially registered Not For Profit Organization Since 2013, who help individuals with Autism and other Exceptionalities, find Hope, Direction, Awareness and most recently starting back in May of 2016, Recreation, Fitness, Social and Activities of Daily Living Programs. We originally started as a home base resource, helping families from all over the World, U.S. and Canada, find support, programs, education help, funding options and direction. This led to Fund raising and raising awareness about Autism and other Exceptionalities. We eventually had the opportunity with the help of our board of directors, and The Pen Center Group to open up a square foot gym facility offering various programs and support to the Niagara Region. Unfortunately due to the Pandemic, and the level of need and support most of the individuals we dealt with needed we have temporarily had to close our doors over possible health concerns. With the future wide open My wife and I have moved Bridges in a different direction and have adapted with the times. Because the need is so great we are on the verge of openning a whole new venture, that we feel will benefit all youth and their families across the Niagara Region."STAY TUNED".
