About Allan Goodwin

I’m the President of Conest Software Systems, where we build estimating and project tools used by electrical contractors across North America and internationally, including Canada and Australia.I’ve spent many years working closely with customers, support teams, developers, and sales — and I’ve learned that the best software doesn’t try to impress people. It helps them get work done accurately, consistently, and with confidence. At Conest, our focus is on:Practical estimating tools that reflect real-world electrical workLong-term customer relationships built on trust and supportContinuous improvement in performance, security, and reliabilityI stay closely involved in day-to-day operations and product direction because I believe leadership works best when it stays connected to the details — not just the strategy slides.Outside of software, I care deeply about building strong teams, reducing unnecessary complexity, and making sure technology actually makes people’s jobs easier instead of harder.
