I have extensive experience and a very successful track record as Shipping, Operations and Logistics Management Professional with significant tenure in challenging and demanding sectors. My knowledge and experience extend across a diverse range of operational functions and includes delivering all projects and responsibilities on time, within budget and to exacting specifications. I also possess an in-depth understanding of regulatory processes and requirements. I have achieved many career highlights but perhaps the most significant have been during my tenure with the MB Technologies Holding Group. My key achievements included carrying out effective and efficient Risk Management for each link in the supply chain; since 2009 till 2014 there has been no theft of cargo in the import supply chain; and the insurer and shareholder benefit is USD185,743,741 of import goods landed and delivered without incident (while the rand depreciated by 60% in the same time period). My key qualities include the ability to remain focused on the achievement of strategic and operational objectives while ensuring that the needs of all key stakeholders are taken into account. Strategic thinking is usually my first priority, moderated by a drive for details and accuracy. I have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills which have enabled me to build productive teams and communicate effectively. I utilize good judgement to make solid business decisions and I maintain a consistent emphasis on achieving excellence.
