I am a highly motivated, resourceful and result-oriented Senior Product Engineer with extensive experience in the development engineering and product development arenas. During my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership abilities through expertly managing engineering and development projects; developing aerospace and industrial filter products; and serving as a project leader for intake air, engine and transmission lubrication and hydraulic systems. I have a comprehensive background in mechanical design, with proficiency in multiple fluid clarification disciplines, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems for aircraft and industrial applications. I am a patent holder for air filtration devices and an advanced polymer blend. I also have a career track record reflecting numerous successfully completed large scale projects. Additional activities include trade studies, finite element and solids modeling, project management planning including scope, schedule development and cost monitoring. Key Accomplishments include: Successfully releasing a helicopter engine intake barrier filter systems using custom made filter textiles resulting in multimillion dollar contract awards; developing new design airline cabin air filter for Boeing aircraft with advanced performance; developing and releasing a 5-micron hydraulic filter to replace a 15-micron unit on the Apache Helicopter, while maintaining similar performance limits on flow, restriction and temperature; designing and constructing a Research & Development (R&D) laboratory with facilities for polymer development and testing, basic chemistry and filter media testing.
