Currently: Auckland Facilities and Operations Manager for Westpac NZ Corporate Head Office. My current role works across Westpac’s Corporate and Retail locations, leading and assisting the National Facilities Manager and the wider Property Services team with the day-to-day management of all Facilities Management (FM), contractor services, compliance to Westpac’s internal policies and risk management frameworks while supporting the capital and operational financial expenditure programs. The role coordinates, maintains and delivers all current FM processes following relevant WNZL, Group and Government H&S legislation standards ensuring all Westpac facilities are operationally compliant with all related standards. As a key member of the Property Services team, I am required to provide and support the strategic direction of the Westpac’s regional business, including: • The day-to-day management of all FM building and contractor services and delivers all current ensuring compliance to all relevant WNZL, Group and Government H&S legislation standards ensuring all Westpac facilities are operationally compliant with all work-related standards. • Provide support and strategic direction and participation in the area of planned and unplanned maintenance. • Managing and analysis of local energy consumption and implementation of energy conservation initiatives. • Managing and analysis of waste streams and local implementation of sustainability and conservation initiatives. • Managing the design and processes of simple building services systems to enhance the local environments that support the Westpac workforce. • Property inspections, associated repairs and maintenance also identifying any opportunities to develop further, implement, maintain, and improve new smart solutions that will simplify processes and deliver greater customer service within the Facilities team. • Managing all aspects of the BWOF compliance process to ensure that all relevant trades complete all tasks to ensure that our sites are compliant. • Inducting all third-party suppliers (including Landlord contractors) to our sites and ensuring all regularity requirements are met and any risk to Westpac, assets and staff located at these sites is mitigated. • Managing stakeholders in the regional locations to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered and aligned to Westpac’s long term vision. • The role will manage Property Services 3rd party service providers helping to deliver FM building services across the national Portfolio such as Mail services Corporate relocations and events.
