About Allard Polak

After finishing my own study to become a primary school teacher, I worked several years at primary schools my selves (with pupils aged 6 to 12). Afterwards I worked in nature and environmental education, including Wadden Sea World Heritage. The aim was always to involve the youth in their immediate living environment. Being outdoors, playing freely and discovering nature uninhibitedly helps children in the development of their senses, motor skills, social skills and creativity. When I was asked to replace a teacher at my own old pedagogical academy, this soon led to my new job as a teacher trainer. There I also followed the master programme Talent Development & Diversity, which focuses on improving educational quality in the classroom by optimally stimulating talent development in students/pupils/children in all their diversity.
