I draw pictures that represent stages I’m at in my life, reflections of the past, and manifestations of the future. I fascinate about worlds on a higher vibration and think of transcendence like going to the grocery store. Tied to emotions and energies interoperated with a spiritual nature. The duality between the heart and its separation from the ego is the language. Art has given me growth with conceptual and critical thinking. I draw pictures about personal experiences through expressions of power and the energy that moves all around us. I noticed that people were also perceptive to the message within the art; being my own interpretation or their own. This created mental seeds for people to reflect on. I conceptualize that if someone can look at my picture and it be associated with something positive then I can be a light in someone’s life without being physically present. With the woes of the world today, I feel the need to seed good intention and expressions of “self” are the only way to turn things around; maybe not in the world itself but within their mind. Creating a space within the chaos has helped me view the entire world differently. I was diagnosed with PTSD after nine years of active-duty service, with 3 deployments in the Army. I’ve seen the bottom and now shine a light above for others. I am colorblind. I believe the expressions of color have come from my inherent anomaly with the color spectrum and the fascination with how I seen the world in color. I have no formal training and if you asked me to color match, forget it! I will do this for as long as God wills it.
