About Allen Singer

Most marketing and creative teams don’t struggle because of talent. They struggle because the way work moves — across people, teams, agencies, and tools — becomes tangled and unclear. My work focuses on that horizontal layer that no one owns but everyone depends on.Across roles such as art director, studio builder, production operations lead, media operations lead, and marketing ops consultant, a common thread has emerged: understanding how work actually gets done, and helping teams operate with more clarity, flow, and confidence. This means finding the real blockers in how work moves, mapping what’s happening versus what’s intended, and redesigning the processes, decision paths, and ways of working that support everything from planning to content creation to execution. Clients value the ability to decode complexity quickly, make sense of cross-functional challenges, and build models that people actually use.Through Optimal State, the focus is helping marketing and creative organizations strengthen how they plan, create, approve, and scale work—whether through operating model design, workflow architecture, content operations, capability definition, or agency ways of working. The goal remains simple: create the conditions for great work to happen without unnecessary friction.
