About Alli Moncrieff

Passionate about municipal government + forging new pathways of municipal inclusion & innovation. I hold a Master of Arts from the University of Lethbridge in Political Science, with aspirations to continue my research at the PhD level. My research foci highlights the nuances and intersections between social policy and social inclusion within a municipal context. My academic experience has been complemented by working in a municipal environment since 2017. My experience has been diverse, leading to my current position in social development with the City of Lethbridge. In my current role, I am keen on aligning collective impact methods to bring truly inclusive and intentional community-derived strategies and solutions. This has significant overlap to my academic pursuits. My work ethic could be characterized by a relentless drive to improve and expand. This has proven to be beneficial to not only my personal growth as a student and employee, but also to my leadership abilities and those whom I collaborate with. I look forward to continuing working, learning, and growing my career in a municipal setting.
