With over 9 years of experience in inventory planning and management, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to optimize the inventory performance and profitability of Sharper Image, a leading online retailer of innovative and high-quality products. I have a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Apparel Merchandising from Central Michigan University, and a strong analytical skillset that enables me to forecast, plan, and execute inventory strategies across multiple categories and warehouses. I am motivated by the mission of Sharper Image to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a result of my previous roles in different sectors and companies. As the Director of Inventory Planning at Camelot SI LLC, Sharper Image Licensee of SharperImage.com, I effectively maintain and manage the appropriate in-stock positions and inventory levels for over 2,700 SKUs. I own the receipts and forecast for accurate replenishment and quickly adjust to support trends, priorities, and business needs. I also balance domestic and imported inventory, taking into consideration cost, lead time, catalog and web promotions, and seasonal availability. I closely collaborate with cross-functional departments on new item launches, marketing efforts, overstocks, backorders, and other inventory-related issues. Additionally, I manage and oversee the Inventory Analysts and Coordinators, providing direction and motivation to the team daily.
