About Allie Butkiewicz

Currently I am ClientEarth's Director of Major Gifts in the US. I collaborate with the global team to cultivate relationships with individuals looking to invest in our nonprofit, which is working to bring about systemic change to protect all life on earth using the power of the law. Previously I focused on creating access to opportunity that lives online as the VP of Philanthropy for Human-I-T. I led the national development team which focused on identifying and securing corporate sponsorships, individual gifts, government grants and foundational giving. Prior to that, I was the Co-Executive Director at Grades of Green, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to inspire and empower students and the broader school community to care for the environment. I oversaw the implementation of environmental programs at schools (K-12) across the globe focused on mentoring youth as they develop and implement eco-projects in their schools and communities. I received master’s degree in nonprofit management and a certificate in fundraising through the University of Central Florida in May 2018. I graduated from Cal State University Long Beach in December 2011 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in environmental science and policy. During my college experience, I had the pleasure of being involved with a variety of environmental organizations and internship programs, including the Long Beach Office of Sustainability and the Alliance to Save Energy PowerSave program. Specialties: public speaking, teaching, verbal and written communication, team management, student leadership and mentorship, project planning, fundraising, event management, and building donor relationships.
