I am a registered nurse at Cook Children's Medical Center. I graduated from the post-baccalaureate nurse residency program in January 2016 and I currently work in the Dodson Infusion Center. I started on the Hematology/Oncology unit for 3 1/2 years. I graduated from Texas Christian University in December 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I am passionate about serving others and giving patients the highest quality of health care. I chose nursing as a profession because it allows me to gain substantial knowledge in the medical field and participate in countless hours of patient interaction. I have had the opportunity to gain incredible experience in serving as a nurse in overseas environments. I have served in Belize, Costa Rica and Tanzania as a nursing student and I hope to continue to incorporate medical missions trip into my career path in the future.
