About Allison Allen

After graduating from the 5 year BS/MS Microbiology program at Wagner College in May of 2022, I have been working a full-time job as a PCA in the Vascular Surgery department at Albany Med. and a part-time job waitressing. I have also spent time shadowing, going on mission trips and preparing to take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). I was awarded the Dr. Roy H. Mosher Memorial Award in Microbiology and achieved an overall 3.9 GPA. This coming August I will be returning with Redeemer Church and the T.E.A.R.S. foundation on another mission trip to the Dominican Republic where we will be volunteering in the K-12 school, local church, aquaponics/agriculture, and the local Maria Auxiliadora community. I am conversational in the Spanish language and took a college credit in Spanish for Health Care Professionals that I loved. My interests lie in direct primary/emergency medicine and outreach work in the mission field. I am an outdoor enthusiast, particularly in the Adirondacks. In my free time you can find me boating on Lake George, hiking, serving at church, golfing or alpine skiing.
