Background
About Allison B. Hillgren
In May of 2017, I graduated from Shenandoah University and earned my BBA with an Accounting concentration and a minor in Spanish. After graduation, I began my career path in public accounting at Yount, Hyde & Barbour, P.C.(YHB). During this time, I assisted on the audits of various industries, such as banking, governmental, and non-profit organizations. I am grateful for the time spent at YHB, because it prepared me for success in my next role as an Internal Auditor at American Woodmark (AW). I began this new role with AW in February 2020 and was promoted to Senior Internal Auditor in January 2022. I thoroughly enjoy working at AW because I’m constantly learning new things, strengthening my skills, and get to work alongside the best people! As a Senior Internal Auditor, I am eager and excited to help lead the department and support the company within the audit function. I look forward to the many opportunities, challenges, and experiences that the future may bring!
