About Allison Betts

I am a Catholic screenwriter with a passion for storytelling. I’m an Atlanta Film Festival finalist and Vail Film Festival quarterfinalist. My stories aim to uncover the intrinsic value behind every human life, providing an avenue to express the emotion, morality, and dignity that distinguish humanity from all other creatures. I merge the old soul of classical art with modern film for modern audiences. As a writer who comes from a rich, mixed heritage of Latino, European, and African origin, history became a part of my DNA from the start. My historical dramas draw from real-life stories and events that illuminate humanity's greatest errors and triumphs. In 2022, I graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA from Liberty University Online with my associate’s degree. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting at the Los Angeles Film School. I've spent several years in the logistics industry, where I learned to adapt to high-paced environments, particularly in the accounting field. Now, I am looking to transfer my skills and passion to the film industry. My ultimate goal is to write and direct my own films for a global audience.
