I am a Director in CFGI’s SALT practice with over 17 years of corporate tax experience, specializing in Sales & Use Tax, Gross Receipts Tax, and Property Tax. I enjoy working with my clients in various industries to assist them with navigating the complexities of multi-state tax and ensure compliance in an ever-changing legislative landscape. Having worked in both public accounting and industry roles throughout my career, I bring a unique perspective to the challenges of balancing tax responsibilities with other demands that may exist within a Company’s finance department. My expertise includes managing complex compliance obligations, performing nexus and taxability analyses, negotiating Voluntary Disclosure Agreements with a variety of jurisdictions, leading successful audits, and identifying opportunities for tax optimization. I am proficient in leveraging tax technology tools such as Avalara and TaxJar to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. I have a strong focus on collaboration and building lasting relationships to help organizations navigate the world of indirect tax and achieve their business objectives.
