About Allison Choo

Hi there, my name is Allison! I am a fourth-year student at UBC, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Health & Society and a Master of Management through UBC Sauder’s Bachelor + Master of Management Dual Degree program. With professional experience in project coordination, marketing, and communications, I am deeply passionate about working with others to make a tangible impact in my community. I am motivated by fast-paced, collaborative environments, and love applying my creative and analytical mindset to drive innovation in the workplace. During my 8-month co-op term at the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, I helped manage 57 corporate partnerships to raise to fund adult health care in British Columbia. For my accomplishments, I was recognized by UBC Arts Co-op as the 2024 Undergraduate Co-op Student of the Year, Honourable Mention. As an active student leader, I have held executive positions in the UBC Arts Undergraduate Society and UBC Dance Horizons, in addition to being an orientation leader for first-year UBC students. Most recently, I had the opportunity to speak with over 100 students about my experience on exchange at the National University of Singapore! In my free time, I enjoy running, dancing, cafe hopping, and reading all types of memoirs. Please feel free to reach out! I am always happy to meet new people.
