About Allison Codi

As a biostatistics MSPH student at Emory University, I am passionate about applying novel causal inference and machine learning methods to tackle challenges in biomedicine and public health. I have a strong background in programming and statistical analysis, with multiple academic publications and industry internships in the field. ‍ My current research focuses on the creation of optimal treatment rules for antibiotic prescribing using doubly-robust machine learning and causal inference techniques. 🦠 My previous research combined crowdsourced probabilistic predictions with an ensemble of mathematical models for infectious disease forecasting. 🧬 My most recent internship as an Observational Data Scientist at GSK optimized the utilization of real-world data (RWD) linked to genetics to improve target discovery and selection. I hope to integrate the skills built through these experiences to drive value in biomedical and public health research by applying innovative machine learning, causal inference, and forecasting techniques to real-world data sources.
