About Allison Cole

My name is Allison Cole, I’m a graphic designer from upstate New York. kind of like the city but with fewer rats and more cows. The Adirondack mountains along with the quaint feel of local farms have made a lasting mark on my personal goals. While I have been heavily influenced by my home, I’ve lived all over. In short; Arizona, Japan, and a cross-country trip to New York. In addition, my half Filipino and half American upbringing offered me exposure to different cultures from the beginning. Because of my varied background, I have a lot of polar opposite influences that have made me quick to adapt and open to new ideas. Growing up in constant change and new environments is something I'm very grateful for and I can still find its influence in my work. God’s given me the gift of exploration and adaptability. Stepping outside of my comfort zone and finding inspiration from the world around me are some of the most important aspects of my design process. Design is such an enriching field because it’s one in which you’re constantly learning. Whether it’s the latest feature in a program you thought you knew inside and out or an old artist that is all new to you. Because of the ever-changing environment, I like the idea of not being held to one medium or area of design. I love switching between logos, apparel, web, and everything in between. There’s always room to grow as a designer. Creating new art has and always will be my passion. In the future, I know my work will reflect my passion for design and creativity. I’m always open to new projects and experiences!
