About Allison Fifield

I'm passionate about creating unique and well-thought-out projects, both on the stage and behind the scenes in an office setting. My personal experiences as an actress and my continued education in administration, have refined my skills in theatre management. At Philadelphia Theatre Company, I have worked in season planning (providing input on over 80+ plays a year), helped connect directors with designers, served as the local casting director for 4.5 years, assisted Artistic Director Paige Price, stepped in as a line producer for artistic initiatives, selected readings, and planned annual Galas. I also have strong management skills, managing 10-15 Front of House Employees, over 400 ushers, and two positions in the Artistic Department. My experience in event management is also vast.My administrative skills include multitasking and project management, identifying emerging projects and plays, and implementing organized and helpful procedures to tackle any project. I know how to start a project, identify key partners (design team, casting, production staff), and see the project through to the end. I have skills in every facet of theatre- patron services, marketing, education, casting, artistic, production, and fundraising.I recently switched careers teaching theatre education to lower school drama students in Aspen Colorado. My roots are grounded in Colorado and in Education. I believe Theatre Education can save the world and excited for my first year as a teacher!
