About Allison Griffith

My name is Allison Griffith and I am an alumna of New York University. I majored in Psychology and minored in both Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies (CAMS) and Spanish. I am passionate about the field of mental health, using and sharing the knowledge that I have attained to help others. While studying at the university, I was able to utilize and improve upon my leadership abilities by joining various on-campus organizations. I served as Public Relations Chair of the Caribbean Students Association for one year and thereafter served as President for two years. I also simultaneously served as Public Relations Chair of the African Students Union for one year and as Director of Operations for two years after that. Through these organizations, I was able to cultivate events, lead discussions, and create a welcoming environment for everyone who came to any of these on-campus events. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, am highly organized and detail-oriented, and work well as part of a team. Moreover, I am a very hard-working and reliable individual. I can be depended upon to get the necessary work completed in a timely fashion. Lastly, my positive energy serves as a great asset to any team. I aim to create a sense of community amongst the teams that I join so that we can all work more efficiently and cohesively.
