About Allison Grubbs

As a seasoned library professional with over fifteen years of experience, I have honed my skills in managing libraries, building teams, and delivering innovative and impactful programs and services. Currently, I serve as Director of Libraries for Broward County Government, where I guide projects from concept to implementation, establish high standards of public service, and create excellent and engaging patron experiences through smart service design and delivery. Previously, as Public Services Manager for the Timberland Regional Library District, I provided strong and innovative leadership to the library district by planning, developing, and implementing goals, objectives, policies, priorities, and performance standards. As Library Manager, Senior for the same district, I managed three libraries located in Grays Harbor, Washington, facilitated capital facilities improvement projects, developed a relationship with the Quinault Indian Nation, and oversaw the disbursement of funds from various sources. My passion for libraries, my commitment to excellence, and my talent for building relationships make me an effective leader and a valuable member of any library team.
