I have always been excited to work with kids ever since I was little, my step mom worked at the daycare center and I would always come and help out with the younger kids. I attend Winona State University and my major is Psychology with Child Advocacy. Over the past summer I was able to work at Discovery learning center, which is center of kids that range from 0-5yrs of age. There were separate rooms for all ages, but because I was a teaching assistant I was able to work in all of the rooms. It was a high-energy workday and I absolutely loved it! I got a great opportunity working with kids this summer and it really showed me how rewarding working with kids can really be.
