I'm a coach and a team-player with a background in Education and People (aka "Human Resources"). Some key areas of passion include-Building capacity among adults: Every problem is not mine to solve. We empower others when we coach them and provide ongoing opportunities for risk-taking and growth-Providing relevant support to others on their terms, beginning with listening and empathizing-Systems refinement and implementation: If we aren't achieving our desired outcome, there are barriers that need to be removed or a system that needs to be refined or dismantled-Inclusion and collaboration: Working with people, especially those with varied insights, experiences, and ideas-HRIS: Whether it's an app, data and reporting software, a database, or communications technology, I’m savvy at learning, accessing, and implementing new tech initiatives when it makes sense. I'm a current HR Director in Higher Ed and a former High School Assistant Principal with a demonstrated history working in the primary/secondary Education industry and in Human Resources. I'm a systems-based leader with strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. An efficient and organized team player, I make sure to prioritize and exceed expectations in a timely manner. I'm a Human Resources (SHRM-CP) and Educational Leadership professional with a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) from Touro University California. My background has conditioned me to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment and refined my knack for deescalating challenging situations through courageous conversations.
