Latina Bi-Lingual (Spanish) therapist with 15+ years clinical experience and 4yrs management experience. 7 years experience working in higher education, specifically in college counseling as counselor, multicultural specialist/ counselor and most recently as counseling center director. Extensive experience working with diverse racial and cultural populations and developed specializations in working with trauma and eating disorder populations. Recent experience overseeing 2 confidential service areas including, counseling and survivor advocacy, accessible to student community of artists and creatives on an urban campus. Initiated a clinical intern training program for MA & PsyD level graduate interns to gain clinical training in a college counseling center.
