I am a current graduate student in the Professional School Counseling Program at Appalachian State University, and am pursuing certification in both school and clinical mental health counseling with a certificate in emotional and behavioral disorders. In addition to my studies, I am current a counseling intern at Newland and Riverside Elementary Schools in Avery County, North Carolina and work to provide comprehensive student services in the socioemotional, academic, and career domains. I am involved in multiple research endeavors and will have presented at multiple professional conferences upon graduation. My research efforts have predominantly focused on equitable access to education and post-secondary opportunities for students with disabilities.
