About Allison Obach

At Sinclair Community College I have learned a plethora of design, networking, and interpersonal relationship skills. Working Collaboratively with a team has been the hard focus of Sinclair’s Interior Design program. My favorite course so far has been Residential Design. I designed a Chicago Loft space for a client, picked out furniture and finishes, then later designed it to be ADA compliant. I also enjoyed the Non-Residential design course. I had the chance to design a training center as well as a restaurant dining room. These all included hand drafted floor plans, sections, elevations, and material boards. I worked for Neff Chiropractic from 2016 to 2018 scheduling appointments, taking patient vitals, and practicing customer service. From there I have currently been employed at McAlister’s Deli where I’ve learned vital problem-solving skills, working within a team, and furthered my experience in customer service. I also volunteered at Dayton Children’s Hospital in the Almost Home department where I worked with children in the final stages of their hospital stay. Some of my academic accomplishment include being on the Dean’s list at Sinclair for all three of my semesters and awarded the Mathile College Scholarship for my GPA.
