About Allison Ownby

With nearly 15 years of diverse experience spanning business management, communications, and nonprofit leadership, I'm passionate about driving meaningful change and advancing social progress. My journey includes a decade at Citi, where I served as Chief of Staff for the PBWM Technology COO, managing operations, finance, HR, and communications for a $10MM budget. I spearheaded global initiatives that fostered engineering excellence and implemented transformative projects benefiting employees. At Citi, I also specialized in enhancing employee engagement through innovative events and recognition programs, significantly elevating team morale. Previously, I thrived in nonprofit management as Development Manager at Sulzbacher Center, orchestrating successful fundraising campaigns and enhancing external communications strategies, resulting in annual contributions exceeding $1.5MM. Armed with a master's and bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University, I integrate strategic planning, project management, and financial acumen to drive social impact initiatives. Outside of work, I enjoy living in Jacksonville’s historic Riverside neighborhood with my husband, two daughters, and our dog. I'm passionate about trying new recipes in the kitchen and exploring our neighborhood by bike.
