About Allison Peterson

With eight years of professional accounting experience, I am adept in a wide array of accounting procedures and systems. The accounting systems I am most familiar with are SAP ERP and SAP_S4/Hana, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, MRI/Yardi and Netsuite. My accounting experience includes: Full-cycle accounting (Cash/accrual, monthly/quarterly/annually), variance analysis, account review and reconciliation, banking and treasury POC, budgeting and forecasting, intercompany transactions, journal entry posting and review, accounts payables and receivables (accruals, payables, check cutting, outstanding balance review, OPEX, and etcetera), fixed asset management and depreciation, process improvement and implementation. I have a proven history working in a fast-paced, remote environment. My passion for accounting aids me in adapting to new working environments and taking on new skills to build on my current foundation. I graduated from St. Catherine University in December, 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and received my Master's level certificate in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University in June, 2024. I am actively pursuing my CPA certification for 2025 and my CMA and CFA certifications thereafter. My experiences in life through volunteering, employment, parenthood and leadership roles have improved my character and skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, training, and customer satisfaction. These skills allow me to continue to improve myself, build strong relationships with co-workers and peers, and to continuously grow within the professional world.
