About Allison Scheckner
Began Pilates practice with Classical Pilates in 2002. Became certified by the PhysicalMind Institute in 2004, and started early years of teaching in several studios throughout Rhode Island. After moving back home to Connecticut, taught as a full-time instructor at Pilates of Stamford from 2004-2008, From 2009- 2011, taught at Pilates Center of Danbury, a studio located within a Physical Therapy practice, dedicating her skills to special populations with injuries and limitations. Currently teaching from home-studio in Redding, CT and A Different Approach Physical Therapy in Norwalk, CT. Attended numerous conferences, classes and continuing education courses for Pilates studies. Some of these include Rehab Pilates, Pilates for pregnant clients, Tye4® and the advanced archival works of Joseph Pilates.
