About Allison Schmidt

I know I always wanted to work with the elderly and disabled and I wanted to work in a field that would help others by making a difference in their lives, no matter how small. I began my journey by completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology followed working in nursing homes as a social worker, Social Services Director, and with admission and discharges of patients. This led to my pursuit of my graduate degree of a Master of Science and Education with a focus on family and individual counseling, thus leading me into the field of Community Resources and Support for the elderly and disabled adults. Not only do I have compassion for people, and their rights as an individual, I am also hard working, empathetic, detail orientated and organized. I find that I enjoy working independently from home with the support of strong team, supportive supervisor and caring company.
