About Allison Singer

I am an incoming senior majoring in Textiles and Apparel at UT Austin, recognized on the Dean’s Honor List and awarded a merit-based scholarship for academic excellence in my program. Growing up in New York, I was immersed in the fast-paced world of fashion from an early age—and now I’m bringing that lifelong interest into my work in both corporate and creative retail environments. This summer, I’ll be a Buying Intern at Ross Stores, Inc. in their New York City office, working with the Missy Branded Tops, Bottoms, and Jackets team. Previously, I interned at Jos. A. Bank in NYC, where I helped select men’s footwear for Spring 2025. There, I analyzed sales reports and vendor data across 188 stores and e-commerce, contributed to executive merchandising strategies, and attended Spring Market Week to work with industry leaders like Cole Haan, Marc Fisher, and Johnston & Murphy. At UT Austin, I actively build on my industry knowledge through leadership and campus involvement. I serve as Secretary on the Executive Board for University Fashion Group, where I oversee communications and event organization for 650+ members and helped increase attendance by 25% through revamped marketing. I'm also Apparel and Social Media Manager for Alpha Epsilon Phi, designing merchandise and running the chapter’s Instagram, which reaches over 3,500 followers. From analyzing data in Excel to trend forecasting and storytelling through design, I thrive at the intersection of creativity and commerce. I'm excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the future of fashion through hands-on experience in buying, planning, and brand development.
