I started my career serving my community on their worst day possible as a Funeral Director. After earning a bachelor's degree and Funeral Director license, which I still uphold, and spending many years, I decided to make a HUGE switch. I made the switch to a field that has always piqued my interest, Project Management, specifically in IT. While both fields are very different, I gained a plethora of transferable skills that have helped me break into the field. Skills such as working with many different key players in all sorts of emotional states, keeping many details in order for various clients, and executing work on a set timeline. I have enjoyed getting to learn the IT side of projects and cannot wait to expand my knowledge even more. I thrive on learning something new daily and it is important that I have something to challenge me.
