Over a decade of experience in creative roles, from agency to in-house, from interactive designer to sr. art director. I bring a unique range of learning experiences to create innovative business solutions unrestricted by unfamiliarity of medium, industry, etc. I specialize in Interactive/UI/UX, but can seamlessly translate the same concept across borders - mobile app, print, social; healthcare, finance, retail; 2-hr turnaround banner ads to 15-sprint integrated campaigns. I planned my career to include as diverse and exceptional a range of work experience as possible, the value I deliver comes from having the vision, creative, and intellectual capability to harness the skills I developed to devise and evolve effective solutions to creative problems. Which is what I believe sets me apart as an art director and creative thinker - I have the ability to imagine, build, and communicate entirely fresh, successful, comprehensive creative solutions which address client needs. Part of that strength lies in my talent as a communicator with an idiosyncratic style that has proven compelling to an inclusive, diverse audience. This skill relies on an intuitive capacity to empathize with others, the emotional intelligence to recognize the value of empathy and its myriad applications, and the creative inspiration to create visual/verbal tones which translate that empathy into genuine authenticity of style. TL:DR? I've spent my life being mindful of other people - understanding their motivations and reactions - and as an empath, this comes intuitively to me, which is an advantage I never waste - because empathy is crucial to success - AD-wise, sure, but chiefly as a species. Lastly, empathy's vital complement: diversity of perspective - how key collaboration is to problem solving. The humility to accept differing ideas as potentially valuable, and set aside ego and judge those perspectives fairly, is the other (rarer) benefit I offer as an AD.
